For lunch, Creole cuisine with tropical flavors... Among our menu, you will find our lobsters and grilled fresh fish that have made our reputation! We will even invite you to choose your lobster from the tank…

The restaurant

Created in 1988, the Karibuni has become, thanks to the quality of its service, one of the most popular restaurants in Saint-Martin. Open 7 days a week, during the high season, we welcome you from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (to the rhythm of the public ferry that takes you to Pinel).


Perfectly integrated into its environment, the restaurant offers an authentic and friendly atmosphere by the crystal clear water of the bay. The decoration is tastefully elaborated and uses natural materials: wood, palm leaves, fibres… Each space in the restaurant is unique and will offer a different atmosphere to your lunch.

The Restaurant

The Beach

The Karibuni offers a complete beach service with the rental of deckchairs and parasols: ideal for enjoying the white sand and turquoise water while enjoying a cold cocktail.


Facing the bay, Karibuni beach is sheltered from prevailing winds and swells and thus ensures optimal conditions. In addition, the beach offers an idyllic and shallow body of water suitable for the whole family… you will undoubtedly be able to observe the fish, rays and turtles that inhabit the crystal clear waters of the bay.


For your meal, you will be able to have lunch on the beach or sit down at the restaurant, at your convenience!

We offer seafood products in Tapas, cod fritters, ceviche, fish carpaccio... We also prepare meat and burgers as well as our vegetarian options: salads, pokebowl...


Renowned for our lobsters and fresh fish grilled on the barbecue, it is possible that you witness the arrival of these fresh products! Indeed the catch of the day and the lobsters are delivered to the restaurant by the fishermen themselves. If you choose a lobster as the main course, you can also accompany your server to select your own lobster from our tank.


Finally, to end your meal, we invite you to discover our classics: chocolate fondant, coco blancmange... or let yourself be tempted by our revisited desserts (mojito tart, tiramisu, etc.).


To accompany every moment of your meal, our bar team offers delicious cocktails and a wide selection of wines and spirits.

Getting to  the restaurant

To reach Pinel Island, you can take the public ferry or cross the bay by kayak or paddleboard. In addition, a private boat transfer service is offered to residents of our hotel, the Karibuni Boutique Hotel.
